Each black circle represents an “existing library suitable for expansion into a regional library,” each bullseye represents an “owned site suitable for erection of a regional library,” and each “O” shapes indicate “new site and building required.” Each zone has been clearly delineated by hand with a felt marker. I’ll leave it to Toronto librarians to tell me how much of this plan was actually executed.

A reproduction available at 18x12" or 36x24" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. Based on this original public domain image held by the York University Digital Library.
