9 Times My Work Has Been Ripped Off is part studio memoir, part business book, part art book, and (hopefully) of use to illustrators, designers, photographers, and anyone else who's trying (or succeeding) at making a living off their creative labour.

In it you'll find 30000 words of it, 60 full-page illustrations, and nine awful events from my career that I've exhumed and explored. That time someone tried to stiff me $50 for a poster I'd made for them? It's in there. The time Hungary's state-run gambling agency based an ad campaign on a New Yorker drawing of mine, without permission? That too. Then there's the small studio, the large ad agency, the fanatic, the bankrupt studio, the bootleg-printing print shop, the multinational mega-corporation, the kajillion dollar "non-profit," etc.
