To paraphrase the text at bottom left: in the fall of 1973 Jack Cuvelier (of a Calgary company called Air Photo Services) assembled the below out of a set of 138 aerial photographs that were taken some fifty years earlier. The resulting “Air Photo Mosaic” was adopted as a project by the Jaycees and Calgary’s Centennial celebrations. It includes 98 numbered points of interest and a few labelled streets, railways and rivers.
