"Growing Irrigated Crops in Southern Alberta" print (1962)
"Growing Irrigated Crops in Southern Alberta" print (1962)
In 1962 the federal government turned its eyes towards Southern Alberta and made this yellow beauty about their findings, with structurally-arranged photos and halftone strip "channels," fitting for a booklet about agricultural progress on the prairies. Unfortunately, an obtrusive library stamp covered the combine photograph at top left, so I replaced it with a similar photo from the Department of Agriculture's Fall 1965 issue of Research for Farmers. Find the original cover and full text of the pamphlet right here.
A booklet cover reproduction available at 12x18" or 24x36" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. The Canada Department of Agriculture wordmark on this cover has been replaced with the words ”National Farming Forum” due to Section 9 of the Canadian Trademarks Act.
