Whoever's calligraphy graces this cover clearly was the same civil servant designer in charge of 1944's Wartime Home Canning of Fruits & Vegetables, the 1947 update of that booklet (Home Canning of Fruits & Vegetables), and the 1951 Mushroom Collecting for Beginners. All are excellent, simple affairs, very far from the modern, canned, vector sign-maker typesets. Also of note: the cute little berries at bottom right, the wavy red highlight area at bottom, and halftone dots throughout.
A booklet cover reproduction available at 12x18" or 24x36" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. The Ministère de l'Agriculture du Canada wordmark on this cover has been replaced with the words ”Le Conseil Canadien des Baies” due to Section 9 of the Canadian Trademarks Act.
