Montréal’s Métro system is a work of art, and now it’s in an art print of mine. Above you'll find my drawings of all 68 station entrances arranged on a bespoke system map inspired by the work of the Société de transport de Montréal but not commissioned by them. Included in the print: a few of my personal favourite stations like the 1978 shard of concrete known as Lasalle Métro and Préfontaine's stranded space-capsule architecture. Also? A few non-favourites like the bland but functional Longueuil-Université-de-Sherbrooke and the way-too-fussy modern incarnation of Henri-Bourassa.
You should be able click on the image I've included here and zoom in see details. Note that while I usually try to make my prints available in two sizes, the small type on this one demands it only be available at 36x24”. At a smaller size, much of it becomes illegible.
Available at 36x24" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed, signed and dated on reverse.
