"Les Salades" print (1964)

Les Salades is an energetic woodcut that looks far cooler than what it actually is: a federal government booklet of salad recipes published in 1964. I can't tell if this is a punk poster from early-eighties San Francisco or the cover of a 38-page booklet with sections titled "Salades de Viande ou de Volaille" and "Salades de Fromage". Sold in an open edition, unframed. The Ministère de l'Agriculture du Canada wordmark on this cover has been replaced with the words ”Économie Domestique Canadienne” due to Section 9 of the Canadian Trademarks Act.
