"Mosaic and Streak Viruses of the Potato" print (1962)

I can't decide if this cover is intentionally minimalist or the result of a pressing deadline and haste. The text is inventive (the early "and") but sloppy, lacking a detectable kerning pace or baseline. I sense the same hand as behind this as the 1960 Handbook for Northern Gardeners and the same charming sloppiness and minimalism appears on Répression des Souris from 1965.

The Canada Department of Agriculture wordmark on this cover has been replaced with the words ”National Farming Forum” due to Section 9 of the Canadian Trademarks Act.
