McAlpine Publishing Co. spent several decades mapping the Maritimes from their Halifax headquarters, and this deluxe map of Sydney is them at the top of their game. Surrounding the thrifty black and white city map are 18 facade illustrations that would've felt right at home on any high-quality bird's eye view image from the era. See my collection's Truro map for an example of the McAlpine Co. at its most hurried and messy.
