“Plan Showing the Suburban and Metropolitan Area of the Town of Burlington” print by MacKay & MacKay (1925)

Maps generally show what already exists, but plans are a whole other animal. They show what people want to be there, and here we have a black slab of blueprint showing what was to come for Burlington, Ontario, as of the 9th of July, 1925. And in case you were wondering, a "chain" is a little over 20 metres. I certainly was.
