"Preparation of Honey for Market" print (1970)

In December of 2025 I met an Ontarian beekeeper, and of course the first thing I wanted to talk to him about was the various bee-related publications the Ontario government has released over the years, the foremost being this gem. The second thing I wanted to talk about? Whether his various hives generally functioned identically. His answer: they don't. Some are lazy, some are productive; each has their own character, in a way. This is the kind of thing that keeps me up at night.
