The very small amount of farming "cred" I have comes from the following: I was born on a pig farm in Mont Nebo, Saskatchewan, in 1979, and when I stayed there 'til I was a toddler. I didn't learn what "rust" was in the context of this image, but adult Raymond is a passable designer and can tell that whatever it is, it's not desireable and it affects wheat. The stark black-and-burnt umber of it says as much, a clear message punctuated by the heavy black sheaf silhouette.
