"Salads" print (1959)

June 1959's Salads keeps the bar high on salad-related government booklets, right up there with Salads All the Year Round (1951) and the all-time Agricultural Arts bestseller Les Salads (1964). Green-and-white candy stripes, quality photo illustration, and crisp script make for a cover far more appetizing than the Cucumber Cheese Mold recipe on page six.

Sold in an open edition, unframed. The Canada Department of Agriculture wordmark on this cover has been replaced with the words ”Canadian Home Economics” due to Section 9 of the Canadian Trademarks Act.
