It's almost unbelievable that in 1959 the Canadian Department of Agriculture published a booklet informing Canadians about sandwiches, but here it is. The foreword starts with the world-altering statement that "sandwiches have many forms, many uses" before outlining that "sandwiches generally have four parts: the bread, the butter, the filling, the garnish."

Sections include "Dainty Party Sandwiches," "Hearty Party Sandwiches," and "Storing Sandwiches." It's enough to make me wish I could reprint the entirety of the 24-page booklet, but the cover alone is an absolute beauty and would look great in any kitchen. Enjoy.

A booklet cover reproduction available at 12x18" or 24x36" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. The Canada Department of Agriculture wordmark on this cover has been replaced with the words ”Canadian Home Economics” due to Section 9 of the Canadian Trademarks Act.
