The Be Kind to Books Club (1936-1940)

While I usually stick to Canadian archives, these five public domain WPA Poster Division images by American illustrator Arlington Gregg called me from the Library of Congress and demanded I make them available. No, I don't mean that literally—Gregg died in 1964 after a long career working with abstraction and modernism in Chicago that I can truly get behind, and I have a sneaky feeling he liked books and thought we should all treat them better. Maybe you're in the same club?
