Wherever there is labour, there is corner-cutting, and William Nathaniel Wesbroom certainly quite a corner on this map. The Toronto-based artist drew Woodstock, St. Thomas, and Ingersoll, Ontario in 1875, and while nobody was looking he used the exact same frame on all three images. The buildings are different, but if you look at all three maps you'll see the familiar rectangle-circle-circle pattern around their edges.
A reproduction available at 18x12" or 36x24" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. Restored from a digital file found in the Woodstock Museum NHS Collection.
