“Comté de Laval (Ile Jesus) Contruite D'Après les Plans Du Cadastre” print by A. J. Duchesnay (1931)

From what I can tell, this 1931 comté map by the Quebec government was traced upon the 19th-century work of long-passed Chef du service du Cadastre A.J. Duchesnay. It explains the very dated-looking outlines and text choices combined with the very 1930s modern text found on the Ministerial credit at bottom right.
