“Map of the City of Sherbrooke, Que.” print by C.F. McAlpine (1910)

This McAlpine Co. map shows Sherbrooke in two attractive colours, and let me point your eye to its bottom right corner. There the following useful notice is written, under the heading "Hints About the Value of this Map":

"A blue print copy of this map would be valued at fifty cents. The previous published map of Sherbrooke was issued more than thirty years ago. This map is drafted to scale and can be used in all real estate transactions, for location, etc. SEE THAT YOUR COPY IS NOT LOST OR DESTROYED. At a low cost this map can be varnished and framed and thus besides being an ornament for the office wall is a very useful reference."
