The City of Vancouver Archives visual holdings are incredible, and this is a slightly-retouched reproduction of only one of their many gems. Originally string-bound by a bowtied twine down the centre of the map, I removed it digitally and reconstructed the typography under it. That’s my goal with this collection – to fix things that are obviously getting in the way of beautiful and interesting printed matter. If I was an actual historian, that would be a no-no. A reproduction available at 16x12" or 24x18" on Epson Enhanced Matte 192 gsm paper printed with Epson UltraChrome XD2 archival ink. Sold in an open edition, unframed. Based on this original public domain image held the City of Vancouver Archives.
